Kantarou Okuyama (奥山夏太郎, Okuyama Kantarō) is a young man recruited in Hijikata's Group.

Appearance

Kantarou is an average-looking man in his early 20s, with dark hair tied back and dark eyes. Defining features include thick eyebrows and dark lower lids. He wears a happi coat- which indicates his former allegiance to the Hidoro family- over a mandarin collar shirt.

He wears a vendor disguise during the hunt for Jack the Ripper. Jack the Ripper later cuts him on his forehead leading him to wear a bandage for the rest of the hunt for gold. Sometime after the Battle of Hakodate Kantarou has removed his bandage and wears the same happi he did before, with it now saying Okuyama, no longer showing an allegiance to the Hidoro family.

Personality

Relatively ordinary compared to the rest of the cast, Kantarou still has the desire to prove himself and become his own man.

Abilities

Being a former bodyguard of the Hidoro Family, Kantarou has experience using a Type 26 revolver, he can also use the Arisaka Type 30 rifle.
